Robert “Robby” Bell, 50 Passed away on Wednesday January 1, 2020. Robby was born on March 19,1969 in Stanley, ND to Roberta Gail (Smith) and Robert Bell. He was of the Maxo Adi Clan – Alkali Lodge of the Ft Berthold Reservation in North Dakota. His Indian name is Macagirahi or “Man Gets Up”.
Robby attended Box Elder Elementary and Harlem High School, and graduated in 1987. Robby attended Montana State University for two years and studied Criminal Justice, He also was pursing his computer science degree from Aaniiih Nakoda College. He entered into law enforcement and graduated from The Montana Police Academy. He was an officer with the police departments in Harlem and Chinook for several years, and also was a part of the Tri-County Drug force as an undercover agent. Later he moved to Broadwater County Sheriff’s Department in Townsend, MT. He retired from law enforcement and moved back to Harlem and began his career at KGVA radio station in Ft. Belknap. At the time of his death he was the Program Director for KGVA.
Robby wed Kara Zuck in 1990 and through this union, two children were born, Britny Lee and Evan Robert.
Robby then had a long relationship with Shari Stearns through which two children were born- Lacey Francis and Trinity Rose, and he became a loving stepfather to Shenia and Sade.
Robby then met and wed Tesscile Liese, through this union, Robby became the loving stepfather to Hunter.
Robby was very friendly and a personable man who loved making people laugh. He had a passion for riding motorcycles, loved very loud heavy metal music and going to concerts, watching movies with his family, and eating a good steak.
Robby is survived by his wife, Tesscile; his daughter Britny (Matthew) Gorder, son Evan (Becca) Zuck, daughters Lacy and Trinity Bell, and Stepdaughters Shenia and Sade Stearns, and Stepson Hunter Speakthunder; Grandson Dominic Gorder and Granddaughters Abigail Gorder and Spencer Zuck; Mother Roberta Bell; Sister Iris (Rob) Adams; Nephews Seth Adams and Damon Adams; Half-Sisters Adrianna Hale and Stacey Bell and Half-Brother Jay Hale.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bell; Maternal Grandparents Iris Smith and William and Miriam Wilkinson; Paternal Grandparents William and Sophie Bell.
